The first 15 vehicles equipped with batteries of our production have already entered the routes of the city of Kursk.
The batteries that Admiral received have a high energy density and a record low weight of the product, which makes them leaders among all existing Russian analogues.
Thus, the gravimetric energy density of the new batteries is more than 160 wh/kg. The installation capacity is 62 kWh. Such technical characteristics allow the vehicle to travel up to 20 km without connecting to a contact network.
In addition, the battery pack of the new trolleybuses is characterized by low weight and small size — the battery height is only 135 mm, the weight is 199 kg, and the entire system has a mass of less than 400 kg.

The batteries use a patented technology for heating and air cooling, which we wrote about earlier. This allows you to use the trolleybus even at temperatures from -40 to +40 degrees and significantly increases battery life.
In addition, the engineers of the Autonomous Energy System (SAE) have equipped the Admiral’s solution with an on-board insulation monitoring device that protects it from possible current leaks, and a cloud-based monitoring system that allows you to monitor the battery status remotely. And the charging of the trolleybus with an autonomous course takes place right during the movement.
In the near future, such trolleybuses will completely replace the outdated transport fleet not only in Kursk, but also in other cities of the country.

Autonomous Energy Systems (SAE) has developed battery packs for new Admiral trolleybuses.
